Ferox is happy to welcome Diego Cifuentes as our newest Ferox intern! Diego is a first-generation college graduate from @ecutigers and a current @thechli 2026 Global Leader. He recently concluded his internship with @repyoungkim, gaining experience in legislative operations, communications, and constituent engagement. He also worked with former Congresswoman Ileana Ros-Lehtinen, the first Latina elected to Congress, where he built a strong foundation in public service and community advocacy. Diego has also been active at the state and local level in Oklahoma and currently serves as Chair of the @cityofada Multiculturalism Committee. He is a member of the @gop_lsa, a network of Republican Latino staffers shaping the future of policy and leadership on Capitol Hill. Passionate about investing in the next generation and strengthening communities, Diego brings energy, leadership, and a commitment to public service. Outside of work, he enjoys listening to music, staying active, and spending time with family and friends.
Ferox would like to welcome our newest intern, Damien Loera! Damien is a senior at Arizona State University pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science, with an expected graduation in May 2026. He was born and raised in San Bernardino, California, where growing up in an underserved community shaped his commitment to public service. Damien has gained extensive experience on Capitol Hill and in district offices, strengthening his understanding of both policy and constituent needs. He interned in the office of Rep. María Elvira Salazar (R-FL), where he contributed to legislative and communications efforts. He also worked in the district office of Rep. David Schweikert (R-AZ), where he assisted with casework and community outreach. Most recently, Damien completed an internship with Rep. Nicole Malliotakis (R-NY), where he conducted policy research and supported constituent services. At Ferox, he hopes to continue learning and gaining valuable experience as he advances his career in public service.
