Lauren Doepke nominated for ACP Emerging Leader Award – I’m thrilled to share that I’ve been nominated for the 2026 American Clean Power Association (ACP) Emerging Leader Award, which recognizes professionals under 30 who are making an impact in clean energy through innovation, initiative, and collaboration. My career in clean energy lobbying has touched on so many exciting tech- and nature-based solutions: renewable fuels, circular systems, electrification, carbon capture, solar, CO2 mitigation/removal through smart agricultural practices, and more. As a scientist and lobbyist, it’s been fascinating to witness and influence the crux of science and federal government affairs. The clean energy transition is inherently intersectional and interdisciplinary. It requires smart minds working together with a shared vision of what society could be: meeting humanity’s growing energy demands while significantly decreasing our negative environmental impacts. I’m so grateful for this recognition and prepared for the hard work to make that vision a reality!
