Conaway (R-TX-11), is joining the team as a Principal and will lead our Republican outreach efforts, building an even stronger all-Latino led bipartisan firm with reach across both sides of the aisle and into the Trump Administration. Mark brings nearly two decades of experience as a senior staff member for Republican members in key leadership roles with expertise in coalition building, campaign management and media strategy.
“I am beyond thrilled to be joining the Ferox team and working with their amazing roster of clients,” said Mark Williams, Principal at Ferox Strategies. “It was going to take a very special opportunity to convince me to leave my career and colleagues in Congress and Ferox offers just that. I’m looking forward to helping build the next great bipartisan firm.”
As top aide to Congressman Conaway, Chairman of the House Agriculture Committee, Williams helped usher passage of the bipartisan 2018 Farm Bill. Williams also supported Rep. Conaway when he was handpicked by the GOP Conference to lead the high-profile Intelligence Committee investigation into Russia’s influence on the 2016 presidential election. Previously, Williams ran point on policy as Legislative Director for former Congressman Sam Johnson (R-TX-3), senior member on the Ways & Means committee, and served as Chief of Staff for former Congressman Todd Rokita (R-IN-4). Williams’ practice areas will include agriculture, armed services, transportation, infrastructure, tax, education and labor. A native Texan and Ironman triathlete, Mark remains a long-standing steering committee member for the Hispanic Republicans of Texas and coaches his son’s soccer team in his free time.
“Mark is seasoned, smart, dynamic, and high-energy, and as a fellow Latino, he values diversity as much as our clients do.” said Cristina Antelo, Ferox’s founding Principal. “He’s well-connected and respected across the House, Senate, and Trump Administration and we’re thrilled to have him onboard to lead our Republican outreach.”
