TAYLOR WEYENETH – VICE PRESIDENT

Taylor Weyeneth serves as Vice President at Ferox Strategies, where he leads our energy practice and advises clients navigating Congress, the executive branch, and the intersection of policy, politics, and communications. His practice centers on energy dominance, emerging technologies, and national security, rounded out by tax and trade work.

Taylor brings over a decade of experience as a senior Capitol Hill staffer and federal appointee. He most recently served as Chief of Staff to Congresswoman Nicole Malliotakis (R-NY), a member of the House Ways and Means Committee.

Since December 2024, he has guided her office in considering the One Big Beautiful Bill Act alongside Ways and Means members and House leadership during one of the most consequential tax and budget reconciliation efforts in recent history. His federal career began at the U.S. Department of the Treasury, where he served as Deputy White House Liaison on the Beachhead Team and staffed key presidential and political appointments during Secretary Steven Mnuchin’s confirmation. Before that, he advised the Executive Director of the 2016 Presidential Transition, having started his public service as National Voter Services Coordinator on President Trump’s 2016 campaign.

Taylor also served as Chief of Staff to then-Congressman Brandon Williams, Chairman of the House Energy Subcommittee, who now serves as Under Secretary of Energy for Nuclear Security at the Department of Energy. He directed the office’s legislative and policy strategy on permitting reform, grid reliability, nuclear energy, and domestic energy production, working directly with committee staff, industry stakeholders, and agency officials to advance an “all of the above” energy agenda. The relationships he built within the U.S. Department of Energy during this period remain a resource he draws on today. In 2024, he graduated from The Heritage Foundation’s George C. Marshall Fellowship in national security and completed the R Street Institute’s artificial intelligence policy fellowship, deepening his focus on emerging technology governance and innovation policy. That background complements the hands-on political work he led as Managing Director of 20K Strategies, the firm he founded in 2018 and ran for more than five years, advising business and start-up clients on political operations, public policy development, grant writing, and PAC management.

Taylor served successively as White House Liaison, Advisor to the Director, and Deputy Chief of Staff at the White House’s Office of National Drug Control Policy. There, he helped advance the successful push for President Trump to declare the opioid epidemic a national public health emergency, a designation that carried direct implications for border security, law enforcement coordination, and interagency response.
