ANTHONY ILARDI– POLICY ANALYST
Anthony “A.J.” Ilardi serves as a Policy Analyst for Ferox Strategies, specializing in tax, homeland security, and appropriations work. He also
tracks and analyzes federal elections for clients.
A.J. comes to Ferox with a wealth of knowledge regarding congressional rules and procedures after gaining valuable experience first as a Legislative
Intern with Congresswoman Nicole Malliotakis (R-NY) and then as a Research Assistant for a North Carolina-based federal lobbying firm, Strategics
Consulting. At the latter, he researched client issues and navigated the appropriations process, including Caopnpgrorepsrsiaiotnioanllsy Directed Spending and Community Project Funding requests.
A.J. additionally offers strong analysis and policy writing skills, having been published by the North Carolina Association of County Commissioners in its “County Quarterly” with an exploration of the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act’s reauthorization process. Before this, he was published by Lone Conservative, commenting on various political issues and serving as its Director of Outreach.
Originally from New Jersey, A.J. graduated Cum Laude from Clemson University with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and a minor in Legal Studies. There, he was a leader within Clemson’s undergraduate student government and led the political science honors society, Pi Sigma Alpha. During his senior year, A.J. also organized students to support former Clemson Tiger and U.N. Ambassador Nikki Haley for President. Outside of work, he is an avid New York sports fan and loves to cheer on the Yankees and the Jets. He also officiated travel baseball games throughout northern New Jersey as a little league umpire.
