Ferox Lands Former CHC Policy Director, Ivelisse Porroa-García, as Newest Lobbyist to Growing Ranks

Ivelisse Porroa-García, former Policy Director for the Congressional Hispanic Caucus (CHC), has made the leap to K St. to join Ferox Strategies, a 2020 Bloomberg Government top performing bipartisan lobbying firm, as a Director. Ivelisse brings six years of policy analysis, legislative expertise, and leadership experience from Capitol Hill to the rapidly growing Ferox team.

Ivelisse learned the workings of Washington under Congressman Raul Ruiz, M.D. (D-CA). As a Legislative Assistant, Ivelisse handled his work as Vice-Chair of the House Committee on Energy and Commerce’s Environment and Climate Change Subcommittee and managed his bipartisan Congressional Burn Pits Caucus. She also maintains strong relationships with the New Democrats Coalition, the Congressional Black Caucus, and the Congressional Asian Pacific American Caucus. During her time on Capitol Hill, Porroa-García ran point on developing initiatives across key legislative issues including appropriations, national security and defense, judiciary, energy and commerce, immigration, and the NDAA. Prior to her time with Ruiz, she worked for Senator Barbara Boxer (D-CA).
